WOMEN

How to use for premenopausal women

Count the first day of the period as day one, then on day 13 start to use the cream at doses of approximately 1/4 of a teaspoon morning and evening.

If the cycle is an average of 28 days, stop using the cream on day 26 or 2 days before the expected period. In the following 2 days a period should occur in which case count that day as day 1 and start the whole cycle again.

However, if a period should start before day 26, stop using the cream and count that as day 1. This can sometimes happen when first using the cream.

Rub the cream into any part of the body that has thin skin where blood vessels show though easily i.e. behind the back of the knees, the insides of the arms, the face and neck , the top of the chest, the insoles of the feet and around the ankles (not on the hard thicker skin of the feet). Rotate the areas used each day so as not to saturate that area and to keep the receptor sites more sensitive. Use both arms, both legs, both feet, the whole of the top of the chest, the face and neck together. The bigger the surface area the better.

How to use the cream for postmenopausal women

Use for 3 weeks morning and evening with a 1 week break at doses of approximately 1/4 of a teaspoon. Most women find it easier to leave the last week of the month as their week’s break.

How to use the cream for perimenopausal women

Perimenopause is a time when the body is starting to approach the menopause and periods can become very erratic. Periods can become heavier and longer or lighter and less frequent. Some women may not see a period for several months and then have one of the worst periods that they had ever experienced. It is usually the case that if one year has passed without a period, a woman will have passed her menopause even though she can still have symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, depression etc.

If this is the case, it is better to use progesterone as a postmenopausal woman would regardless of if a period occurs or not. However, if periods start to become regular again, use the cream as a premenopausal woman would until any irregularities occur again.

MEN
